Road Construction is Done!

posted by Allan Lietz

The construction on Lawrence Avenue is finished! The city has finished the work they were doing under the road in front our store and we are now enjoying the newly paved road and our uninhibited access to our parking lot. Thank you to all our customer's for your patience during the construction over the month of June. We wish everyone a fun summer season!

Starting Tuesday June 11 the city will be tearing up the road outside of The Trophy Den to do repairs to pipes below the road. We will remain open for business and encourage you to place orders by email or phone if you do not feel like braving the bumpy road. Thank you for your understanding and patronage!

No one likes dealing with the hassle of road construction so we thought we would have a little fun with it and do a gift card giveaway! During the construction on Lawrence Ave we will be giving away 2 gift cards a week. The winners will choose from a selection of gift cards each worth $50. You can enter your name in our draw box when you come into our showroom or on Facebook by commenting on our posts or tagging The Trophy Den in a post of your own. We will draw the first winners on Friday October 19 and every Friday after that until the construction is finished! We will contact the winners and post their smiling photos on Facebook.

The Season of Giving

posted by Allan Lietz

The season of giving is in full swing and The Trophy Den donated forty $5 Tim Hortons gift cards to Inn from the Cold - Kelowna. A small token but hopefully one that brought a bit of warmth and comfort to people in need this season. We challenge other businesses to do the same!

Click here to make a donation or find out more about Inn from the Cold - Kelowna.

The staff at The Trophy Den would like to wish you the very best of the holiday season. However you choose to celebrate, we hope it is a joyful time spent with family and friends. We will be closed for the holidays at 5:00 pm on December 23rd and will reopen January 3th at 8:00 am. We appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you in 2017. Have a safe and happy holiday!

Construction on Ethel is finished

posted by Allan Lietz

We are happy to report that after a long couple of months Ethel St. is now open again and looking great! All of our wonderful customers can now come to our location without having to drive around road closed signs or fighting the heavy traffic on Gordon Dr. All of this just in time for the holidays. The holidays are a busy time at The Trophy Den, as we add that personal touch to make the perfect gift even better. We are also busy with corporate awards and gifts. Stop by and see us for unique gift ideas or just to say hello and see what is new. We would love to see you.

Well it is fall and we know what that means, construction! The city has torn up Ethel St between Highway 97 and Bernard Ave so you cannot access our block from Ethel. You can still come from Gordon Dr, just go around the road closed sign. The road is still open just not to through traffic. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. The project is supposed to be completed in November, fingers crossed!

Busy Days of June

posted by Allan Lietz

June is our busiest month of the year and now that it is officially coming to a close we can catch our breath and recharge our batteries. We appreciate the patronage of the schools in Kelowna and the surrounding area. It may be a super busy time for us but we enjoy the challenge and every year we look forward to creating awards to honour all the students' hard work. We all remember receiving that special medal or trophy as a child and the sense of pride and confidence that came with it. Congratulations to all the award winners and graduates, enjoy your summer...we know we will!

The Trophy Den has enjoyed healthy relationships with the people and organizations of the Okanagan for many years. To help celebrate this, we are offering a $100 in-kind donation to any non-profit organization, charity, society etc. that carries on business in the Central Okanagan.

That's right - $100 free!! The donation can be used for anything we sell in our store - event awards, nametags, signs, volunteer recognition or anything else we sell.

Here are the conditions:

  • The items donated must be something new that the organization has never purchased from us before.
  •  The $100 must be used all in one transaction. You cannot carry forward the unused balance.
  •  We would like to increase our social media presence, so write a review on our Google+ page or "like" us on Facebook. If possible, post event pictures where our products were used to our Facebook page or email them to us and we will post them. If you have a website, have a link on your website to ours.

If you have any questions or would like to take advantage of this donation, please call the store or email Allan at
