These beautiful antique trophies are for the Kelowna Golf & Country Club's Ogopogo Open. They date as far back as the 1960's and definitely have a charm all their own. The engraving on the trophy in the back is truly a work of art. At that time it would have been done entirely by hand and the design shows a great sense of space and artistry. The waves cut out of the top of the plate are a nice finishing touch. The ogopogo sculpture is also a wonderful piece of art with incredible amounts of detail.
Not all antique trophies look this good and we often help people bring life back to old trophies they have that may have been sitting collecting dust. We can give them a polish and repaint the base or perhaps add a new base. Then we can add some new engraving plates if needed. In the end the trophy will look new but still have the charm and elegance of earlier times.
