Employee Recognition Awards

posted by Allan Lietz at Wednesday, January 25, 2017

Happy New Year! With the start of 2017 the staff The Trophy Den have been busy making employee recognition awards and corporate awards for local companies. Glass and acrylic pieces are a popular choice for these awards. Sleak and modern, they look great sitting on a desk or shelf in an office. We stock a wide variety of these awards in all shapes and sizes. Come by our showroom, have a browse and pick out something to show the people in your life how great they are!

The Season of Giving

posted by Allan Lietz at Wednesday, December 21, 2016

The season of giving is in full swing and The Trophy Den donated forty $5 Tim Hortons gift cards to Inn from the Cold - Kelowna. A small token but hopefully one that brought a bit of warmth and comfort to people in need this season. We challenge other businesses to do the same!

Click here to make a donation or find out more about Inn from the Cold - Kelowna.

The staff at The Trophy Den would like to wish you the very best of the holiday season. However you choose to celebrate, we hope it is a joyful time spent with family and friends. We will be closed for the holidays at 5:00 pm on December 23rd and will reopen January 3th at 8:00 am. We appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you in 2017. Have a safe and happy holiday!

Summer Swim Events

posted by Allan Lietz at Wednesday, August 03, 2016

Summer in the Okanagan means hot weather and cooling off by taking a refreshing dip in Okanagan Lake. It also means swimming events and triathlons are in full swing. We offer a variety of medals that can have a custom disc made especially for an event. We can also make custom medals, like the apple shaped medal in the photo below. These custom medals can be made in a wide variety of metal colours and finishes and can have colour added as well.

Good luck to the athletes in this summer's races!

Track and field

posted by Allan Lietz at Friday, May 13, 2016

Warm spring weather is here and with it comes outdoor sports days and track and field for the schools. We have been busy with orders of medals and ribbons. Ribbons are a colourful and economic option that kids love! They are available in a rainbow of colours (and in an actual rainbow fabric!) and many sizes and varieties. For something a bit more flashy try a rosette ribbon. These beautiful ribbons are a popular choice for horse and dog shows.

Valentine's Weekend & Engraving Giftware

posted by Allan Lietz at Friday, February 12, 2016

With Valentine's weekend coming up, we thought it would be a perfect time to talk about engraving gift items. With our various machines we are able to engrave a large variety of jewellery, from the inside of rings to lockets, charms and bracelets. With our laser engraver we are able to engrave not only apples (that's right apples...see picture below!), but coloured flasks, wooden and leather items, marble and many other materials. We are always looking for a challenge, so if we have never lasered it before just bring a small sample in and we will try it out!

Busy New Year

posted by Allan Lietz at Wednesday, January 06, 2016

Happy New Year! After a rather slow first day back on Monday (probably largely due to the big snowfall we had that day!) we are off to a busy new year. January is the time for fantasy football trophies and football rec league awards. We have a good selection of football trophies and if we do not have something that appeals to you, we will custom make one! In addition to being busy with football awards, we have been doing a bit of housekeeping and updating some of our display plaques in the showroom. We like to keep our display awards current and show off some new creative options available. Hope 2016 is a prosperous and happy new year for all our customers!

posted by Allan Lietz at Tuesday, December 08, 2015

We are happy to report that after a long couple of months Ethel St. is now open again and looking great! All of our wonderful customers can now come to our location without having to drive around road closed signs or fighting the heavy traffic on Gordon Dr. All of this just in time for the holidays. The holidays are a busy time at The Trophy Den, as we add that personal touch to make the perfect gift even better. We are also busy with corporate awards and gifts. Stop by and see us for unique gift ideas or just to say hello and see what is new. We would love to see you.

We are open during construction on Ethel St.

posted by Allan Lietz at Thursday, October 01, 2015

Well it is fall and we know what that means, construction! The city has torn up Ethel St between Highway 97 and Bernard Ave so you cannot access our block from Ethel. You can still come from Gordon Dr, just go around the road closed sign. The road is still open just not to through traffic. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. The project is supposed to be completed in November, fingers crossed!
